"Indaba" is a Zulu word meaning a get-together or gathering. The Zulu elders and tribes people get together to discuss important matters, pass down folk lore and hold court.

Indaba Gallery celebrates ethnic art from many countries and cultures in Africa. We have an extensive and ever changing collection of unique artifacts and tribal art, baskets, textiles, contemporary handmade crafts and functional art.

Indaba Gallery was founded in Miami, in South Florida in 1994.
